Neurological Therapy – Stroke

STROKE

A Stroke is a sudden disorder of cerebral circulation that alters the function in a particular area of the brain. It may cause motor and sensory disturbances, sudden vision or speech problems, impaired balance and coordination.

The injured tissue produces a neuronal deficit of the affected area. Due to the brain plasticity the surviving tissue remodels and rebuilds the damaged neuronal pathways. This is enhanced by training and rehabilitation.
